Director Sriwass is coming up with his ambitious project Phoenix Raja, produced by Mahankali Nagaraju under Madhavi Creations.
The makers have kick-started the promotional campaign by unveiling the film’s first poster and a 2D motion teaser.
The teaser establishes the larger conflict surrounding the story. Corporate influence, political manoeuvring, drug networks and the fight for justice form the backdrop of a narrative that appears to have much more at stake than an individual battle.
Interestingly, the motion teaser maintains an air of mystery by keeping the faces and identities of the principal characters concealed. Instead, it offers glimpses into a world shaped by power, manipulation, justice and resistance.
The title Phoenix Raja carries a symbolic significance, drawing from the Phoenix, which represents survival, resurrection and the ability to rise again despite adversity.
Sriwass is presenting the project as a contemporary, bigger-than-life cinematic experience while drawing inspiration from situations and incidents that resonate with the world around us.
The film is planned to be shot across multiple locations in India and overseas, with the makers aiming for high production values and a technically ambitious presentation.
