Lady Victoria Beckham has shared a series of sun-kissed family holiday photographs, including a snap of her kissing her husband Sir David.
The 52-year-old fashion designer and Spice Girl documented moments from the summer on Instagram. Former footballer David appears in a number of the photos, along with the couple’s daughter Harper and sons Cruz and Romeo. Victoria said: “Creating special memories this summer “I love you all so much xxxxxxx.”
In one photo, Victoria is wearing a straw sun hat as she holds David’s face, appearing to make him “smile” for the camera. Another shows the pair kissing, and in one snap Lady Victoria has her arm wrapped around David’s shoulder at sunset.
Harper responded in the comment section: “Most amazing summer.”
The post came hours before Cruz makes his Reading Festival debut performing as Cruz Beckham and the Breakers on Saturday afternoon, before a Sunday set at Leeds. The photographs show the family spending time by the sea, with Sir David wearing green shorts, a white cap and black sunglasses.
Victoria is shown wearing a black maxi dress, black sunglasses and a sun hat. Missing from the photographs is their eldest son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, following a public fallout after he shared an explosive social media statement in January, stating he had no desire to reconcile with his parents.
In another upload, he was joined by daughter Harper on the French leg of their adventure, while showing off his gigantic croissant, quipping that he would need “a little more butter and jam”.
Highlighting his bond with Victoria once again, he posted a sweet picture as they posed together while having a snack, with the message simply reading; “Love you.”
Elsewhere on their lengthy trip, they made a poignant pitstop in Portofino, returning to the hotel that they first visited when they were newly dating, nearly 30 years ago.
An insider recently offered an insight into their holiday, dubbing it a ‘second honeymoon’ following a tough few months – amid their continued rift with eldest son Brooklyn.
“This holiday has been like a second honeymoon and about them enjoying time as a couple together,” a source told new magazine.
“It’s taken a lot for them to laugh and joke together again after the Brooklyn saga. Victoria has been devastated by the fallout. Brooklyn broke her heart, and everyone including David has been deeply concerned about her. But she is starting to feel better.
“In a strange way, it has brought them closer together, which no one could have predicted. It’s almost as if they’ve fallen in love again, and gone back to a time when things were more simple.
“The holiday was poignant, and a stark reminder of who they were before fame took over and before they had kids, when it was just the two of them. It was a beautiful reminder, but also tinged with sadness – because they have everything they could ever want, apart from Brooklyn being with them.”
