Kavya Kalyanram, born in Kothagudem on July 20, 1998, pursued her acting career as a child artiste. She started working in movies with Snehamante Idera in 2001. Kavya featured in Gangotri (2003), Tagore (2004), Adavi Ramudu (2004), Balu (2005), and Subhapradam (2010) as a child actor, before making a breakthrough as a leading lady with the acclaimed horror thriller Masooda (2022). She also starred in the critically and commercially successful rural drama Balagam (2023). Following the success of Balagam, Kavya starred in Gautham Menon’s Ustaad (2023) as well as Aa Okkati Adakku (2024).
