The three-tier heated airer is selling fast as autumn arrives

As autumn approaches, drying your clothes outside is a no go, which is why many of us invest in a heated airer to speed up the process, as opposed to using a tumble dryer. Over on the Lakeland website, this Dry:Soon Deluxe 3-Tier Heated Clothes Airer was originally priced at £199.99 and has been reduced to £169.99.

According to the product description, it costs 8p per hour to run as opposed to 65p for a standard tumble dryer. It can hold approximately two wash loads with 21m of drying space, and has a built-in timer for added convenience.

With a top handle for easy movement, dimensions for the heated airer include 70 x 74 x 132.5cm. The timer function means you can set it from anywhere between 1-12 hours, after which it will switch off automatically so you don’t have to worry about doing it yourself if you’re out of the house.
