Fontaines D.C. announce huge Manchester gig at Heaton Park next summer – how to get tickets

Everything you need to know about the newly announced dates

Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. have announced a huge show at Manchester’s Heaton Park next summer as part of their UK headline tour.

Supported by Little Simz and Viagra Boys, Fontaines D.C. are set to perform in Manchester on Saturday 3 July, 2027, with other newly announced shows in Cardiff, Newcastle, Glasgow and London.

The new dates come after a string of gigs this year across America and Europe including Atlanta, Brooklyn, LA, Barcelona, Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden among others.

The Starbursters hitmakers are already set to perform a sold-out show at Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday, November 21, 2026, before returning next summer for the newly announced dates.

Fontaines D.C. – made up of band members Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan and Tom Coll – are set to release their fifth album Dopamine Chamber on October 16.

It comes as a follow-up to their 2024 album Romance. With lead single Marianne streaming now, the album is promised to bring potent balladry, and anthemic melodies glinting through the murk.

Ahead of the release, Grian Chatten says: “The album itself is a dopamine chamber. You step inside and we test these different mind- or mood-altering pieces of music on you.”

Tickets are going on general sale for the newly announced dates at 10am on Thursday, September 10, available to purchase through the band’s website.

When are the new Fontaines D.C dates?

The five-date run of outdoor headline shows in 2027 will take place in Blackweir Fields, Cardiff, on June 29; St James’ Park, Newcastle on July 1; Heaton Park, Manchester on July 3; Glasgow Green on July 6; and London Stadium on July 9.

Support on all dates will come from Little Simz and Viagra Boys.

Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Thursday, September 10, via the band’s website which can be found here.

An artist presale will commence at 10am on Tuesday, September 8, available for those fans who have signed up via this link or pre-ordered the new album.
