Later this month, the Soho Jazz Festival returns with hundreds of artists across four days – every one of them independent.
Festival goers can expect thirty shows on ten stages, played in rooms where the audience can see the whites of the band’s eyes. From the traditional sounds of swing, latin and blues to the contemporary new wave and the UK underground scene.
Over the past 12 years producers Nathan Britton and George Hudson have positioned the festival as Europe’s leading grass roots celebration, welcoming a wave of emerging musicians and local legends across London’s historic jazz quarter. Expect standout sets, raw jam sessions, secret gigs, album drops and live recordings as the UK’s leading voices come together to redefine what jazz culture means in 2026 and beyond.
The ten stages are Alfie’s Jazz Club, Ronnie Scott’s, Jack Solomons Club, Archer St., Club Sucre Music Hall, Piano Bar Soho, the 1664 Rosé Room, Cafe Boheme, Sophie’s Steak House and Soho Square Garden on Roblox.
Also at the festival this year, they officially launch the Discovery Stage in the basement of Jack Solomons Club, the room that opened as Club Eleven in 1948 and later became The Scene. It returns as the first grassroots live music venue in Europe certified by Yamaha Sound xR, in a room of ninety.
Venues run from 5pm to 11pm each day.
