The new venue will be opening later this year
Strap in — a human claw machine will form part of a new games arcade heading to Nottingham this autumn.
Claw Kingdom will be opening its second site in the city, following its debut in Leicester, where visitors hailed it as fantastic fun for all the family.
The attraction, a UK first, will open at Unit 1, Marco Island, on Huntingdon Street, in a former escape room.
There will be dozens of claw machines with prizes of plushies, consoles, collectables, and mystery wins in a neon-lit playground, plus the ultimate challenge to crank up the fun even more — the immersive human claw arena where players become the claw.
Once strapped into a harness, kids and adults, are lifted up and hover over a mountain of giant prizes, players wear gloves like Mickey Mouse hands as they try to grab a host of prizes.
The owners said: “It’s chaotic, hilarious, and absolutely unforgettable.”
The new venue will open in October on a date still to be announced. If it’s like Leicester, it will be open seven days a week and there’s no need to book, just walk in.
