Solo Leveling Gives Sung Jinwoo a New Shadow Monarch Release With Igris and Beru

In the past few years, Solo Leveling has inarguably become one of the biggest anime franchises, with Sung Jinwoo now being an icon within the medium. To this end, he’s now receiving a high-end collectible that perfectly captures the energy of his animated counterpart.

Hot Toys is unleashing a 1/6th Sung Jinwoo figure, turning Solo Leveling animation into tangible art. Part of the “TV Masterpiece” line, the figure ripples with energy and personality, making it perhaps the best Solo Leveling representation out there. This includes recreating his immense power and arsenal, with his sword, daggers and even his Shadow Soldiers along for the ride.

The Hot Toys figure for Solo Leveling‘s Sung Jinwoo stands at 12.5″ in height, and the detailed finish boasts 30 points of articulation. The character’s anime design comes to life while still retaining an animated look, with his flowing coat, T-shirt, pants and boots all showcasing detail and energy. His head allows for interchangeable eye parts, with blue effect parts that let him truly show his power.

These also have a UV luminous reflective effect, making even static poses look dramatic. Adding to this are the two interchangeable hair options, with one being more windswept and active. Likewise, the wired coat can be maneuvered in many ways to match epic action displays.

Of course, no Hunter is complete without his tools, and Sung Jinwoo comes with plenty of weapons. These include Kasaka’s Venom Fang, Knight Killer, two Demon King’s Daggers, the Demon King’s Longsword and energy effects to be added to them. Beyond these, there are a few other accessories based on items that Sung Jinwoo uses in the story, most notably, interchangeable hand parts to hold these many items.

There’s also a recreation of the Holy Water of Life, an Instant Return Stone and a status screen panel to emulate the progression system of Solo Leveling. Finally, the display base has both the franchise logo and the upper bodies of Igris and Beru. These Shadow Soldiers have the same reflective elements in their eyes, so they too can beam with energy like their master.

Now available to pre-order from websites such as Sideshow for $285 USD, the 1/6th grade Sung Jinwoo sadly won’t be released as soon as some might want. Expected to begin shipping between July 2027 and December 2027, it will be at least a year before fans can get their hands on the coolest Sung Jinwoo figure ever.

Beginning as a web novel by Chugong in 2016, Solo Leveling has been around for 10 years, and it’s only gotten more popular in that decade. The novel spawned a Webtoon adaptation, which later became an audiobook and a print manhwa.

In 2024, the Solo Leveling anime adaptation dropped, putting the brand on the map like never before. In fact, it was one of the biggest hits of the year, with the second season upping the ante with epic, aura-farming action. A third season of the anime is on the way,
