Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara has been in production for over three years, and the film’s release remains uncertain. Meanwhile, its director Vassishta has moved on to his next project.
Vassishta will direct Nandamuri Mokshagna Teja in his debut as a lead actor. Mokshagna was earlier supposed to make his debut under director Prasanth Varma, and the film was even launched officially. However, the project was shelved shortly afterwards.
Balakrishna has now entrusted the responsibility of launching his son as a hero to producer Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers. On the occasion of Mokshagna’s birthday, the makers officially announced the new project, which will be directed by Vassishta.
According to reports, the script narrated by Vassishta impressed Balakrishna, leading to the director being chosen for Mokshagna’s launch film.
The makers also unveiled a few pictures of the team meeting Balakrishna and Mokshagna and extending their birthday wishes to the young actor.
More details about the project, including its title and other members of the cast and crew, are expected to be announced soon.
