Nandamuri Balakrishna has turned “Dada.” The much-awaited #NBK111, marking the second collaboration between Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni, has been titled “Dada.” The title glimpse was unveiled today.
The glimpse presents Balakrishna as a powerful and fearless character. Set in a police station in Mumbai, the video shows him sitting calmly on a chair while several policemen point their guns at him. He then takes on the cops, before placing one leg on a table, holding a gun and delivering a dialogue in his trademark fierce style.
The dialogue goes: “Naaku guri pettadaniki ontlo pogaru, veeliki trigger unte saripodu, bullets ki ballupu undali, guns ki guts undali (Having the courage to point a gun at me and a finger on the trigger isn’t enough. The bullets need to have power, and the guns need to have guts).”
Thaman’s background score is in line with the mass template he is known for in Balakrishna’s films. The glimpse ends with the announcement that “Dada” will arrive in theatres on December 24, 2026.
Starring Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead, “Dada” is currently in production. Venkata Satish Kilaru is producing the film under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner.
