One of the best perks of being a beauty journalist is getting hands-on access to top-tier beauty edits. And the new OK! Beauty Box Timeless Beauty Edit by Lady of the Manor truly stands out as one of the best – overall – I’ve tried.
Made in collaboration with influencer Hayley Karseras – widely known online as Lady of the Manor – the box curates her go-to skincare and beauty routine. It features heavyweight faves from Kate Middleton-loved (allegedly) Rodial, Nuxe, Gatineau and more. Marking her very first beauty box collaboration, this luxurious selection packs a total value of over £250 but costs £59.99.

Having said that, I’ve been using the majority of the contents on a daily basis, demonstrating just how worthwhile this Beauty Edit truly is. This is one thing I seldom find to be the case with beauty edits.
One or two products are usually superfluous, and I pass them onto my best friends or mum. For this reason, it has greatly surpassed my expectations.
My verdict on OK! Beauty Box’s Lady of the Manor collection:
Let’s start with the obvious – the brands featured in this Timeless Beauty Edit by Lady of the Manor (valued at over £250) are exceptional. The box includes Rodial, Gatineau, Nuxe, Beauty Pro, Pixi, Pai, Pippa of London and others, with one of the items inside costing £25 more than the price of the complete box.
The Rodial Collagen Booster Drops, £85, contain marine collagen and peptides formulated to enhance skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The formula also excels at moisturising and delivering a luminous finish.
While I haven’t been using it long enough to observe significant improvements in my skin’s firmness or the emerging lines I’ve noticed, the radiance is immediately apparent upon application. I’ve also noticed my pores look smaller, which I’ll take.
My skin feels tighter and appears slightly more luminous, before I’ve even applied my beloved COSRX The 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum and Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream moisturiser. Another standout product in the collection is Gatineau’s Collagene ExpertTM Plump and Revive Eye Cream, usually priced at £46.
As someone who already enjoys the brand’s moisturiser and gradual tanning cream, I anticipated loving this particular formulation. It’s light in texture and fragrance-free – perfect for my delicate eye area. The product promises to revitalise weary eyes and has been developed to visibly diminish under-eye bags, puffiness and dark circles.
I can vouch for much of this: upon applying the formula beneath my eyes, the skin felt rejuvenated and moisturised, likely due to ingredients such as Ectoin, Hyaluronic Acid Complex, and Bio-mimetic Ceramide Complex. The addition of Green Chiretta proved effective in making my eyes look brighter and less fatigued; puffiness was also somewhat diminished. However, I noticed little improvement in dark circles caused by disrupted sleep, though this may require several more weeks of consistent application to show results.
As someone who adores eyeshadow, I was buzzing to try out the Wet n Wild Color Icon 10 Pan Palette Rose in the Air. Featuring 10 distinct shades, the palette suits anyone seeking a natural yet sultry eye look, thanks to its earthy bronze and brown hues.
Combining matte and shimmer textures, it makes an ideal travel companion as it’s compact enough for any makeup bag while offering versatility from daytime to evening looks. It even includes step-by-step instructions on the reverse for those needing a bit of guidance.
The powders deliver intense pigmentation and impressive longevity. No touch-ups were necessary, even after eight hours of wear and a sweaty meal during sweltering weather.
No makeup collection feels complete without mascara, in my opinion. While I maintain high expectations for this cosmetic essential, the Pippa of London Dark Queen Mascara certainly delivered. It provided my fine, straight lashes with both length and lift and didn’t smudge beneath my eyes throughout the day or during workouts, thanks to its waterproof formula.
My sole concern with this particular item is that it proves more stubborn to remove than other formulas I’ve tried – such as the UKLASH Tubing Mascara, £16, which needs only warm water and gentle wiping. I found myself rubbing my eyes three or four times to remove the Pippa of London product and, even afterwards, traces of mascara remained at my lash roots.
One item I’ve reached for more frequently than anything else in the collection is the Nuxe Paris Very Rose Lip Balm, £14. As someone who constantly battles dry, flaky lips, I find this product incredibly soothing for split lips and, crucially, it has a non-tacky texture.
It carries a delicate rose fragrance, which is delightful and delivers a subtle pink tint for that natural enhancement effect – I’ve also been layering it with Wonderskin’s Lip Stain to give my lips added moisture.
The set also includes the ISOCLEAN Makeup Brush Clear With Spray Top, typically priced at £8. With a no-rinse formula, it eliminates makeup, dirt, bacteria and other residue from brushes in just 60 seconds. While it effectively removes everything at impressive speed, one aspect I found less appealing was the product’s potent chemical odour.
The scent is quite overpowering and lingers for some time, making the task of cleaning multiple brushes one after another rather unpleasant. That said, this hasn’t deterred many users – and to keep my brushes clean, I can always spray the solution onto towels outdoors.
The one item I’ve not yet tested is the Beauty Pro Retinol Renewing Facial Sheet Mask, valued at £6. Since there’s only one included in the collection, I’m reserving it for a special moment – my intention is to take it on my next long-distance flight to ensure my skin looks hydrated, refreshed and revitalised upon landing.
Formulated with Seaweed Kelp Complex, Organic Pine Oil and Wild Yam, it reportedly offers benefits such as tackling acne and signs of ageing, diminishing fine lines, reducing inflammation, minimising pore size, balancing skin tone and defending against free radicals.
Overall, for £250 worth of quality skincare products that I’ll genuinely use regularly, this £59.99 collection represents excellent value, in my view. And for any products that don’t suit you, friends and relatives will undoubtedly appreciate them.
