Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-awaited Pan-India film Ranabaali is creating fresh buzz. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the period action drama is set in the 19th century during British rule. The makers have officially announced that the highly anticipated teaser will arrive on September 9, raising expectations among fans.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films, Ranabaali is mounted on a lavish scale. The story draws inspiration from real historical incidents reportedly occurring between 1854 and 1878, promising an intense narrative blending history, action, emotion and larger than life storytelling.
Ranabaali is scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on October 16, coinciding with the auspicious Vijayadashami festival. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna reunite as the lead pair, while international actor Arnold Vosloo is part of the ensemble. The combination has made this one of Telugu cinema’s anticipated releases.
Rahul Sankrityan directs the film, with Ajay–Atul composing the music. Nirav Shah and Jishnu Bhattacharjee handle cinematography, while Karthika Srinivas is responsible for editing and Pramod Thammineni serves as writer. With its historical backdrop, star pairing and ambitious production scale, the September 9 teaser is expected to reveal the film’s world.
