Marks and Spencer has launched a pair of classic leather loafers which shoppers are snapping up in multiples for their autumn wardrobes. The Leather Trim Block Heel Loafers are available in tan, brown, and cream, ideal for pairing with jeans or some tailored trousers.
Also available with a flat heel in black, the timeless design features a luxe grainy leather composition with gold tone hardware across the vamp. Shoppers can pick up the shoes in sizes 3 to 8 on the M&S website, with half sizes available too.
One shopper who snapped up three pairs already said: “I love these shoes enough to have them in three of the four colours on offer. I first bought the tan colour, then the cream and this review is for the black. The shoes are very comfy and look great with ankle length trousers/jeans.

“I’m normally a heels lady, but like a loafer if wanting a flat-ish shoe. I wear anything from a UK 5 to a UK 6 depending on style of shoe and brand. In this style I’m a UK 5.5.”
Another happy shopper said: “Gorgeous soft leather. Normally size 5 and sized down to 4.5 and they fit perfectly. A lovely soft leather and very comfortable to wear. Very stylish and on trend.”
Although, some shoppers have mentioned needing to go down a size. This is evident in one review which reads: “These loafers are sooooo soft! Size down half a size as they are quite roomy. I got the cream which if perfect for summer jeans/linens.”
Elsewhere, Boden has reduced its Classic Penny Loafers from £119 down to £59.50 in three colours: red, dark navy, and tan. Made from a ‘hardwearing but supple leather’, they’re built to last, especially if you’re wearing them on repeat.
Sizes range from 36 to 42 however stock varies depending on the colour. Boden recommend pairing the penny loafers with some turn-up jeans to show off the intricate stitches and textured detailing.
One shopper praised the loafers, writing: “High quality product. A pair of beautiful loafers, arrived very quickly. Very comfortable.”
For something a little bit different, Next’s Weave Forever Comfort® Leather Charm Boat Shoes have a woven effect design with a rounded toe, and laced eyelet upper. Usually priced at £55, they have been reduced to £17.50 in chocolate brown and £21 in navy.
