Katie Price recently split with Lee Andrews but she seemed in a good mood as she walked the red carpet at the National Television Awards

Katie Price walked the red carpet at the National Television Awards tonight for her first big appearance since her marriage split.

Katie and Lee Andrews married earlier this year but things have taken quite a turn since then. They met and got engaged within days of each other, before Katie insisted Lee would visit her in the UK, despite claims he had a travel ban.

Since then, he’s never made a trip to the UK and famously missed out on an appearance on Good Morning Britain, with it soon later being claimed he had been ‘kidnapped’ and he was later located in jail.

Tonight, fresh from new surgery, Katie appeared on the red carpet with her eldest daughter Princess Andre. Katie showed off her figure in a white shirt and black lace hotpants. Princess, meanwhile, wore a bright blue dress.

Since dumping Lee, 43, by WhatsApp, a source said that Katie had gone into “self-destruct” mode and has been partying away her pain. A source says: “Katie’s family is very, very concerned that the wheels are coming off, that she’s going to go into a dark place again. She’s out partying until all hours and vaping.”

Katie and Lee split after she accessed Lee’s crypto wallet and, instead of finding the $50million (£37m) he claimed was in there, discovered it contained just £2.22. Their marriage ending has been tough for Katie.

“It’s the worst possible outcome for Katie,” a source said, “She hoped her fourth marriage would be her last and Lee was The One, but she’s been proved wrong. She knows Lee is no good and has hurt other women, but she can’t deal with it and the pressure is building.”

“Judging by past relationships, she knows Lee can be very vindictive and it could all get very messy indeed. Family and friends are worried about her, particularly as they know what he [Lee] can be like. They’re so relieved he’s out of the picture, but there’s a sense of ‘what’s next?’ They’re worried about the potential damage he could do.”

Katie has refused to break silence on her split from Lee, saying on her podcast recently: “I know everyone’s going to be listening to this pod wanting to know one thing, so…” before adding: “I’m not talking about anything, I don’t want to go into detail about anything, everything is fresh at the minute so I’m not going into detail about anything.

“But, yeah there’s just lots and lots and lots of things that haven’t made sense,” before repeating that she didn’t want to share anymore information. She concluded: “I think I’ve said enough here.”
