Sam Rockwell wore the new skeletonized Crash at the photocall for Wild Horse Nine, his new film with John Malkovich. Peering through the Dali-esque Roman numerals on the dial, a hand-wound movement is revealed, while the strangely pinched and melted-looking case proves that it’s still one of the most sensational designs in the horological world. At least for now, there’s no way to wear one without attracting some attention from the watch-spotter crowd.

You know what…maybe the next James Bond should be Spanish?? Carlos Sainz Jr, driver for the Williams Formula 1 team, pulled off a white dinner jacket to spectacular effect in Venice this week with a heck of a Girard-Perregaux strapped to his wrist. The Laureato Three Gold Bridges Tourbillon is a 41mm stainless steel piece with a matching integrated bracelet that boasts the maison’s signature design: an arrangement of the movement’s primary bridges in parallel, with the caliber’s componentry revealed via a transparent dial. In this case, the design features a tourbillon, which can be seen spinning away at 6 o’clock.

Orlando Bloom repped Porsche Design by throwing on a handsome Chronograph 1, the modern version of the world’s first black-cased chronograph. Though he didn’t choose an actual black-cased version to pair with his all-black fit, he did choose a handsome one: cased in brushed titanium and measuring just shy of 41mm, it features a matching bracelet, the Calibre Porsche Design WERK 01.140 automatic movement, and a black dial with 30-minute, 12-hour, running seconds, and day-date indications. Sleek with 911-like curves and design flourishes, it’s the ideal driver’s watch…or the ideal tuxedo watch. (Maybe both.)
