With just a month to go until Carrie premieres on Prime Video, a new trailer has landed online for Mike Flanagan’s upcoming reinvention of Stephen King’s debut novel, along with a batch of promotional images from the small screen adaptation.
The coming-of-age horror series stars Summer H. Howell in the role of the titular misfit teen, and follows her as she struggles with a domineering mother, relentless bullying in the unforgiving environment of high school, and the awakening of her mysterious powers.
Joining Howell in the cast is Samantha Sloyan as Margaret White, Siena Agudong as Sue Snell, Alison Thornton as Chris Hargensen, Joel Oulette as Tommy Ross, Josie Tota as Tina, Arthur Conti as Billy, Thalia Dudek as Emaline, Amber Midthunder as Miss Desjardin, and Matthew Lillard as Principal Grayle.
