Made In Chelsea’s Lucy Watson gives birth and shares adorable new photo

Lucy Watson, who is best known for having appeared on Made In Chelsea, has revealed that she has given birth to her second baby in a sweet post on social media

Lucy Watson has given birth to a baby girl. The reality star, 35, who is best known for having appeared on Made In Chelsea in the 2010s, is married to former co-star James Dunmore and already has two-year-old son Willoughby with him.

But on Wednesday evening , the TV star-turned-author took to social media to reveal that she and her husband had welcomed a little girl.

Without revealing a name, she simply wrote on Instagram: “and then there were 4…” In one of the snaps, Lucy cradled the little one in her arms and there was a balloon on display which read It’s A Girl.

Fans were quick to send their love to Lucy in the comments section of her post, with one writing: “Beautiful, congratulations,” whilst another said: “Yessssss, congrats girly!”

A third said: “Aw, such a proud big brother!” and a fourth said: “Huge congratulations to you all.” A fifth penned: “Woop woop. Congrats mate x”

Lucy had been documenting her pregnancy for the past few months – and just days ago this week revealed she had her hospital bag packed and ready to go as she is so close to welcoming her second child.

Lucy and James have been an item since 2015 – with their romance blossoming and solidifying on E4’s reality show Made In Chelsea. The couple tied-the-knot in 2021 with a lavish ceremony in Greece, and they welcomed their son, Willoughby, in 2024.

In April this year, Lucy announced that she was pregnant a second time – and both she and James had been counting down to the arrival of their new bundle of joy together via their social media outlets.

Lucy previously won praise when she opened up about her struggles to conceive – sharing her journey in an emotional video that she shared online when she revealed she was pregnant with Willoughby.

She said at the time: “I just wanted to come on here and acknowledge everyone who is experiencing fertility issues. My news may have been triggering to a lot of people. I respect that and can relate to that.

“Fertility problems aren’t spoken about enough and if you’ve had a normal cycle and periods you assume it will happen really quickly for you.”

She continued: “We realised potentially we were going to have a harder journey. I’ve seen a lot of specialists and read a lot on this topic.”

She added: “Don’t wait until you’re ready to try. There can be a lot of things underlying that we may not be aware of under the surface. This applies to both men and women.

“Getting a simple baseline scan or getting a sperm analysis can tell you a lot about where you are right now and that doesn’t mean things can’t change and you can’t improve this situation, but you don’t want things deteriorating until it’s too late. You want to take control of the situation while you still can. Technology is insane now.”

The star previously made the candid admission that she felt as if she had lost part of her identity as she turned to full time motherhood.

She explained to Grazia in November that year: “What surprised me most about becoming a mother was the identity crisis that I experienced. Finding a balance was incredibly difficult – and I have more tools than most to do so.”

She continued: “I was feeling down through the act of trying to find things that I liked that were maternity wear. I didn’t want to compromise on my taste and buy ugly things that made me feel even worse about how I was feeling in this new body. It was all feeding into this massive identity crisis.
