Transformers has been languishing somewhat when it comes to new releases. Sure, it’s doing better than ever with its incredible run of comics, but when it comes to live-action films or video games, Transformers is being criminally underserved. Fortunately, that’s all destined to change, and hopefully soon, with a new film in the works and several video games potentially in production from Hasbro’s new in-game publishing label.
However, perhaps more noteworthy, or at least tantalizingly strange, is that among the aforementioned upcoming Transformers games and films is another project, one that will absolutely break the bank should you shell out for it. This incredibly expensive Transformers product will cost you, at minimum, $7,000, a sum that’s so high you could likely buy every existing Transformers film, comic, and game and still have money left over. The problem is, this exorbitantly expensive Transformers project looks absolutely incredible.
Transformers is reportedly getting a big-budget release soon, with Hasbro’s aforementioned newly developed game studios and publishing organization designed to finally deliver great games for its vast selection of IP. This is, of course, amazing news for fans, but also something they’re going to have to wait quite a while for. Of course, if you don’t feel like waiting for a big-budget Transformers video game, why not try out the extremely big-budget Transformers pinball machine?
Developed by the critically acclaimed and industry-leading Stern Pinball, the recently released Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye pinball machine delivers an excellent, high-end experience with abundant Transformers theming. Featuring models based on the original designs of many of Transformers’ most iconic characters, as well as all the best pinball trimmings one would expect from a high-end machine like this, the More Than Meets The Eye machine is a true work of art.
Stern Pinball absolutely knows what it is doing when it comes to creating pinball machines based on licensed IP. It has one for Fallout, Pokémon, The Walking Dead, X-Men, John Wick, The Mandalorian, and so, so many more. Of course, with it being such an impressive product (and a giant pinball machine), it fetches a rather hefty price. For the base model, you’ll need to spend $6,999. If you want the upgraded Premium model, it’ll cost you $9,699. Finally, for the Limited Edition model, you’ll need to pay a whopping $12,999.
Naturally, this is for truly dogmatic devotees of Transformers, and not the casual fan who enjoys the odd release every now and then. Indeed, this is not your typical new Transformers announcement and release, and is tailor-made for those with a lot of disposable income and a penchant for giant robots. If that’s you, then you can purchase one of these incredible pinball machines from Stern Pinball’s official website. If it’s not, but you still want to gaze upon the impressively detailed and rather beautiful Transformers pinball machine, well, it’s still the same website.
