Not only are Twisted Teens one of the most energizing, charming, straight-up exciting new rock bands to break out this year, they’re also one of the most prolific. The New Orleans duo already dropped two great albums in 2026, February’s Blame The Clown and July’s Florida Water Blues. Lately they’ve been teasing a third, and now we know all about it.
With The Holy Cross Tigers, Caspian Halliwell and RJ Santos will make the leap to Sub Pop, the storied Seattle indie label. They’ve described this album as their very own Blood On The Tracks, and lead single “When We First Met” sheds some more light on that idea. It has the same unstoppable ragtag momentum Twisted Teens fans have come to expect, and it finds Halliwell reflecting back wistfully on the early days of a romance that has presumably now gone sour.
