Lilo & Stitch galaxy night light is so relaxing and perfect for back-to-school routine

We tried the Disney projection light and even our dog loved it

Many families are getting back into the swing of back-to-school routines and looking for ways to make bedtimes easier for their little ones.

This Paladone Lilo & Stitch projection light is sure to make bedtimes go smoother, with its mesmerising galaxy night light. Even our dog was transfixed by the blue and purple colours that filled our ceiling.

Although it’s predominantly marketed for children, with a Stitch figure situated on top of the ‘planet’ in a space helmet, it’s also for adults too and I found it super relaxing.

It is a great way to unwind instead of having the TV or radio on before bed and the blue and green setting gives a Northern Lights vibe.

The plastic lamp is USB rechargeable and includes a charging lead, but not plug. The officially licensed Disney LED lamp also has a stand so it can sit on bedside tables or even the floor and includes a remote, so you do not need to get out of bed to change a setting, turn it off or set a timer.

You can control the colour through the remote, as well as the colour phasing if you want to watch multiple colours projected onto your wall or ceiling.

Amazon says: “Transform any space with starry skies thanks to multiple light modes including colour phasing, colour select, and soothing night mode with an auto-off timer. Control it with the included remote for added convenience.”

It is important to note that the light does not project while plugged into the charger, but does glow red when charging and blue when the battery is full.

Some Amazon reviewers have said they found the charge did not last long, however you can set a timer and give your child the remote, so if they do wake up in the night and want the light on, they know how to turn it on should they need it.

One reviewer said: “Daughter loves this and a hit at bedtimes as a night light. Remote is good for her to change from bed. Charges off usb C but can’t be used whilst charging so remember to do it before bed to save at drama if you use it like us.”

Another said: “My daughter loves it. I am not sure what the issue is but it only works when we un plug it. But then the charge goes quickly. You cant have it plugged in and turned on.”

Currently it is on offer on Amazon, down from £29.99 to £24.99. It’s also available at Freemans and Very for £30 and Argos for £28.

Paladone also has this Disney Angel SquishyGlo rechargeable silicone night light, which is priced at £22.99.

There’s also this Auxmir night light on Amazon, which is the number one best seller in mood lights and has more than 25.660 reviews with a 4.4 star rating. It’s available for £13.99.
