Priya Ragu has shared her new single ‘Finally’.
Out now, it finds the acclaimed Tamil-Swiss artist welcoming fans back in to her world, with the release paving the way to her new album.
The incoming LP is titled ‘Madras’ and it finds Priya engaging with her heritage while also developing new ideas and fresh sounds.
Written during an extended stay in India and recorded in Zurich, Goa, Mumbai, Kerala and Chennai (formerly Madras), the album was sculpted alongside her brother, Japhna Gold, her sole producer and close co-writer.
Following on from 2023 album ‘Santhosam’, the record broadens Priya’s aspects, while finessing her pop touch.
Glorious new single ‘Finally’ is a dazzling point of re-introduction, a fusion sound that feels wholly amalgamated.
