Benn (25-1, 14 KOs) – the son of legendary boxer Nigel Benn – could follow in his father’s footsteps and become a world champion with a win in Nevada, but he will enter the ring as underdog. ‘The Destroyer’ defeated former world champion Regis Prograis on points in April, which followed his explosive victory against rival Chris Eubank Jr.
Garcia (25-2 (1), 20 KOs) earned his first major crown in February by defeating Mario Barrios with a unanimous decision after 12 rounds and will make the first defence of the title on Saturday.
