Parents looking for an easy way to keep kids entertained on journeys or at home are in luck. We’ve found a way to pick up a pair of popular children’s headphones for less than a fiver.
The Fresh ’n Rebel Code Junior On-Ear Headphones are currently £19.99 at Argos, but shoppers can cut the cost significantly by using TopCashback. New TopCashback members shopping at Argos can bring the effective price down to just £4.81 after cashback, while existing Argos shoppers could pay an effective £4.91.
The prices are based on using free click and collect, but shoppers should be aware that standard delivery costs from £4.95. To claim the deal, shoppers need to sign up for a TopCashback account, click through to Argos via the cashback site and make their purchase as normal. However, cashback isn’t instant and can take up to seven days to become payable.
The wireless headphones offer up to 48 hours of playback from a single charge and have a maximum volume of 85dB, designed to help protect young ears. Meanwhile, clickable on-ear controls deliver clear sound and are easy to use.

Argos isn’t the only retailer to shop for kids’ headphones. These JBL Junior 470 NC Bluetooth Headphones (£57.99, Amazon) are foldable, have active noise cancellation, and they’re capped at a volume of 85dB to protect smaller ears.
Otherwise, the Toniesbox 2 Bluetooth Headphones (£27.99) are designed to work with the latest Toniesbox 2. They offer up to 40 hours of wireless playtime, a comfy adjustable fit and playful LED lights.
Back to the Fresh ‘n Rebel Code Junior On-Ear Headphones, they’ve had some great reviews from Argos shoppers. This person shared: “Fab headphones. Perfect fit for my six-year-old’s head. They were also fine on me, too. The padding is super soft and makes it comfy on the ears.”

So far, the headphones have no negative feedback from customers. Our only note is that they need to be charged for two hours, which may get some grumbling from impatient children.
