Today, Hackney-born artist Eliza Rose shares her new project ‘ARCADIA: PLEASUREDOME’ via Rosebud Recordings.
Produced by Sega Bodega, ‘ARCADIA: PLEASUREDOME’ is a sensory escapade “of freedom, pleasure, happiness and untamed wildness”, giving the listener a glimpse into a formative period of Eliza’s life and career where she felt creatively stifled even as the platonic bonds with the women in her life flourished.
An homage to Eliza’s pre-‘B.O.T.A’ roots and love of ’90s rave, the six tracks – including previous singles ‘KITE’ and ‘DOVE’ – are a kaleidoscopic carousel of 2-step, garage, globular electronics, drum and bass, trip-hop, and galactic pop.
2026 has been a prolific year for Eliza so far. The vocalist and selector performed a debut show at Chats Palace in her hometown of Hackney, London. In spring, she joined an alumni of electronic luminaries including Ben UFO, Goldie, Special Request, Overmono, Four Tet, Confidence Man, Amelie Lens and Helena Hauff with the release of ‘FABRICLIVE. presents Eliza Rose’.
With the EP comes a visual lead single ‘Undercover Lover’ directed by Jade Ang Jackman and filmed in South End on Sea.
