Earlier this year, Lillie West released the latest Lala Lala record, Heaven 2. The nomadic indie artist likes to go on side quests; in 2024 she shared an instrumental album called if i were a real man i would be able to break the neck of a suffering bird. Now, she’s back with a surprise piano LP called Wall Tongue.
“Summer 2024 I did a residency at [Mudhouse Residency] in Agios Ioannis, Greece and made a piano album,” she wrote on Instagram. “It was a very idyllic experience. I’m releasing it today along with a small run of cassettes – 70.”
