Mrunal Thakur is one of the talented and popular actresses in Indian cinema. Interestingly, the Telugu film industry has given her more success than Bollywood in recent years, where several of her recent films have failed to make an impact.
She also had a Telugu setback this year with “Dacoit.” However, a string of Bollywood flops over the past year has reportedly affected her momentum in Hindi cinema. While she continues to be regarded as one of the leading actresses, she is not landing as many high-profile projects as she once did.
Mrunal is now pinning her hopes on a major Telugu project. She has recently signed “Raaka,” Allu Arjun’s massive global-scale film directed by Atlee.
Although Deepika Padukone is the primary female lead, “Raaka” has a huge ensemble cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur. Mrunal has reportedly already begun shooting for the film, with the makers keeping her involvement under wraps until an official announcement.
“Raaka” will be her next big-ticket project and could give her career a much-needed boost if the film delivers at the box office.

The film is currently under production. Produced by Sun Pictures, “Raaka” has music by Sai Abhyankkar. Several high-profile Hollywood production and visual effects companies are also said to be working on the project, which is being mounted on a global scale.
