With a vintage Chanel bag and flirty pumps, Nicole Kidman proves you only need a few accessories to elevate a look. While out and about in New York City recently, the Practical Magic 2 actor wore a look that started with a minimalist, everyday basic: high-waist baggy jeans. She paired them with an ivory lace top and tossed on a midi trench coat, worn open and loose. However, it was the accessories that gave the ensemble its true personality, showing us once again just how much the little details can really transform an outfit—especially in a season that calls for layering and playing with different shades.
Kidman’s jeans were wide and soft, with a relaxed fit, which ended up being the perfect base. The denim gave the ensemble a decidedly casual, cool, contemporary vibe, while her lace top introduced a more feminine and romantic touch. The dark red added depth to the outfit’s light color palette and introduced a warm and sensual note that was missing otherwise from the denim.
