The Birmingham outlet will be the brand’s first in the West Midlands
A popular jacket potato business is opening its first outlet in the West Midlands tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15.
SpudBros, who have more than five million followers on TikTok, will open in Birmingham.
The SpudBros Express site will be delivered in partnership with Taster, the ‘European leader in creator-led food brands’ and EG On the Move, a filling station at Mucklow Park, off Battery Way in Tyseley.

It will join popular chicken brand Popeyes.
The ‘UK’s most-followed jacket potato creators’ will open at the garage forecourt, one of 30 new roadside locations to open in the next three years.
SpudBros promise ‘affordable and high-quality food on the go’ delivering ‘freshly prepared, fully loaded jacket potatoes in minutes, without compromising on quality, flavour or portion size’.
Last April hundreds of people queued at the city’s Bullring to meet the SpudBros.
To mark the Birmingham opening at noon, the first 100 customers will receive a free potato with the venue open until 9pm.
The concession will be open seven days a week, from 11am to 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 11am to 10pm Friday and Saturday.

Jacob Nelson, co-founder of SpudBros, said: “It’s mad to see how quickly SpudBros Express is growing and Birmingham is another huge moment for us.
“The idea has always been to make a proper loaded spud easy to get wherever you are, and taking what we started in Preston into forecourts across the country means we’re reaching people who might never have tried us before.
“We’ve got loads more coming, but for now we can’t wait to get the doors open in Birmingham and give the first 100 people a spud on us.”

Boyd Baptist Wahr, head of Strategic Operations at Taster, said: “The pace of growth we’re seeing with SpudBros Express demonstrates how well the brand translates into a convenience-led format.
“Birmingham is another important step in an ambitious rollout with EG On The Move, with 15 new locations confirmed this year alone.
“Together, we’re building a model that combines the strength of one of the UK’s most exciting creator-led food brands with the scale and accessibility to take it to customers nationwide.”

Zuber Issa, CEO of EG On The Move, said:”“Food-to-go is an increasingly important part of the forecourt experience and our customers expect more choice, better quality and brands they genuinely want to eat.
“SpudBros has built an incredible following by taking a simple, much-loved British staple and giving it a fresh, modern identity.
“The response to the locations we’ve opened together so far has been extremely encouraging, and Birmingham represents another step towards our ambition to bring SpudBros Express to communities and motorists across the UK.”
