But you can’t deny the appeal of the new and sparkly, and is there anything newer and sparklier than the Apple TV series Widow’s Bay, a supernatural comedy that scored 19 Emmy nominations for its buzzy debut season? Apple also did well with season one of Pluribus, Vince Gilligan’s apocalyptic showcase for Rhea Seehorn’s talents, which was nominated 18 times.
