Clarkson’s Farm star Hannah Bourne-Taylor has left fans in disbelief after she shared a video of herself celebrating her birthday – and they ‘couldn’t believe’ her age

In the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm, which chronicles television icon Jeremy Clarkson, the former Top Gear host brought in bird expert Hannah Bourne-Taylor to assist him in cataloguing the bird species living on his Diddly Squat farm.
Hannah swiftly became a viewer favourite, with audiences impressed by her extensive knowledge of all manner of birds and her remarkable ability to identify them purely by their calls. Following the conclusion of the series, Hannah has maintained her presence by sharing bird-related facts with her now 239,000 Instagram followers, including guidance on caring for them during the record-breaking summer heatwave.
However, recently, admirers have been taken aback after discovering Hannah’s age, as she was spotted marking her latest birthday over the weekend. Yet in typical Hannah style, she chose to hint at her age by drawing comparisons with the lifespans of different bird species.
In the post, Hannah wrote: “It’s my birthday, so to celebrate being alive, I’m going to talk about bird ages.”
She explained that crows can live for up to 20 years, while most garden birds, such as blackbirds and robins, typically survive for around five years.
“My favourite bird was swift, the oldest in record was 22 which is an incredible life if you think about it,” she continued, before disclosing ‘the winner’ was the albatross, which generally lives between 30 and 60 years in the wild. Hannah then remarked they are “a lot older” than her.

In a post published the day before her birthday, she revealed she was in her thirties ‘for a few more hours’, leaving many followers floored as they ‘couldn’t believe’ she was turning 40.
On her birthday (12 September), Hannah shared a video in which she was dared to plunge her face into her birthday cake – a challenge she accepted without a moment’s hesitation, much to the amusement of those behind the camera.
Dressed in a short red frock, Hannah clambered up onto the kitchen counter before pressing her face into the cake and dissolving into fits of laughter. She was subsequently spotted tucking into the cake, still sporting frosting across her face.
Well-wishers flooded the comments section, with many left utterly astonished to discover the television star had turned forty.
“Happy cake smash Hannah! No way you’re 40!” one bewildered fan wrote.
“Surely not 40 years of age,” another mused.
“Happy birthday! I cannot believe you’re 40! I’m guessing you have an awful painting in your attic,” a third person quipped, drawing a humorous comparison to the Picture of Dorian Grey, in which the titular character’s portrait ages in his place.
Not everybody, however, was taken with her cake-smashing antics, as one person remarked: “Ruined a perfectly good cake!” To which one of Hannah’s relatives swiftly responded: “No she did NOT. It tasted great lol.”
