Exclusive: Chiru’s ‘Kaaka’ to Release on January 12

Bobby and Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film has reportedly locked its release date. The highly anticipated project is now set to hit theatres on January 12, making it a major Sankranti release.

The development is expected to further raise excitement among fans and trade circles.

A few days ago, Chiranjeevi appeared to tease the film’s title in an interesting way by saying, “Kadiri….” His cryptic hint immediately sparked curiosity among fans, who began speculating about what he was referring to.

When we tried to decode the clue, insiders suggested titles such as Kadiri Kalidas, while others mentioned Kadiri Kakaji.

However, after all the speculation, the makers have reportedly finalised Kaaka as the title. The word “Kaaka” is commonly associated with the meaning of uncle in Hindi.

Meanwhile, there is also an interesting development involving Chiranjeevi’s other major project, Vishwambhara.

Sources indicate that the makers of Vishwambhara were keen on bringing the film during the Pongal festival period. However, Chiranjeevi has reportedly decided that Bobby’s film will take the Sankranti slot.

As a result, Vishwambhara is now expected to arrive earlier. According to the current plan, the film could release around October this year, depending on the completion of production and promotional activities.

With Bobby’s film now targeting January 12, all eyes will be on how the Sankranti 2027 box-office race shapes up.

The teaser, scheduled to be released on August 22, on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday, is expected to officially reveal the film’s title and release date.
