Shailene Woodley just shared a reaction showing that’s she’s not bothered by Aaron Rodgers’ comments about what he said led to their split.

Shailene Woodley has given her reaction to the bombshell claims her ex-fiancé, Aaron Rodgers, made about their relationship.

Rodgers appeared on the Not Just Football with Cam Heyward podcast ahead of his first game of the 2026 NFL season and aired out some alleged dirty laundry about what ultimately ended their engagement.

According to the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, “I date Shailene, I propose, and she says ‘yes.’ She maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no. But not a couple of days after that, she tells me before we get married like, ‘I got to go f*** this guy.’

“Her story is, I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her, but in actuality she told me that and took off the ring by March (2021). There wasn’t even a relationship in ’22 to break off. She literally told me I don’t want to be with you after we tried to have some sort of reconciliation in 2021. There’s just a lot of narratives out there that are just not true … Stop talking about me. You’re not relevant … Move on with your life.”

Following the signal caller’s public comments, Woodley didn’t immediately respond. But TMZ reported that her friends came to her defense and had some questions for Rodgers, asking, “We’re questioning why a married dude is bringing up an ex he hasn’t spoken with in over two years.”

They are referring to Rodgers’ revelation in 2025 that he tied the knot with a mystery woman named Brittani. The couple got married years after their first meeting in 2017. The elusiveness of his wife has led to rumors and speculation about whether she’s actually real. But Rodgers insisted on the podcast that he doesn’t “f****** care about any of that.”

On Sept. 14, cameras caught up with Woodley, and of course Rodgers’ name came up. When it did, Woodley turned towards those filming her and laughed.

In 2024, Woodley spoke to Outside about a “toxic situation” she experienced, telling the publication, “I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry … I had a really awful, traumatic thing happen in early 2022. I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy … empathy kind of kept me in this loop of feeling everything for everyone. That was the lowest low of my life.”

While the Big Little Lies actress didn’t say that ” traumatic thing” was their breakup specifically, many concluded that’s what she was referring to in the interview.
