It is currently listed at £109, reduced from £179 at Yimbly, an online retailer owned by this publication’s parent company Reach Plc. When the code AUTUMN10 is applied, the price comes down even further to £98.10, beating the likes of the same model at Amazon.
According to MOVA, the S2 device delivers a powerful suction and can run for up to 60 minutes with the roller brush, depending on the cleaning mode. It features a five-layer filtration system and is recommended for all floor types, including hardwood.
Rather than getting a larger vacuum out every time someone walks mud through the hallway or crumbs land on the kitchen floor, a cordless model can come in handy. Leaving a review at Amazon, another customer explained: “I bought the vacuum cleaner for our rugs. Since we have a dog and our old vacuum cleaner doesn’t have a carpet cleaner, we opted for this vacuum cleaner.
“The hair and lint are absorbed very well, and the articulated joint is very practical. The accessories are completely sufficient. We are satisfied with the suction power, the battery is also ok. I haven’t run out of battery yet during a suction session.”
Someone else suggested room for improvement, writing: “I removed a star for the relatively small dust container. Especially when you vacuum a larger area or pick up a lot of hair and dust, it fills up quite quickly and must be emptied more frequently. A slightly larger container would have been much more convenient for me.”
However, another buyer was delighted, explaining: “The suction power is decent and I find the integrated light particularly practical. As a result, you can actually see dust and small particles on the ground that you would not notice at all under normal lighting. Especially on smooth floors, this is really helpful, and you can immediately see where you need to vacuum again.
“Another big advantage for me is the attachment. This makes mattresses, sofas and other upholstered furniture very easy to vacuum. I find it convenient that you don’t need a separate device for this. The various attachments are also easy to change, and the battery vacuum cleaner is overall pleasant to use.”
