ITV viewers saw host Bradley Walsh welcome four new contestants onto The Chase in a bid to earn some money.

Bradley Walsh was speechless after the turn of events.
The Chase star Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace went head-to-head with contestants James, Peter, Robyn and Jacqueline as the players were all hopeful they could walk away with whatever money they’d managed to collectively earn in the prize pot.
As James, Peter and Robyn had all successfully managed to get back to the table with an accumulative £9,000, Shaun confessed he didn’t want player Jacqueline to make it back for him to face a ‘full house’.
Before Jacqueline had her cash builder round, the ITV star complimented another player’s performance as he told Bradley: “Robyn was a very good player, very measured, very calm, she’s going to be a threat in the final chase.”
However, when it was time for the fourth and final player to go up against Shaun, her £7,000 cash builder left Bradley praising her as he said she was ‘very good’. In agreement, the chaser remarked they had ‘saved the best until last’.
Calling her performance ‘excellent’, Shaun added: “I cannot afford a full house. You’ve got to go.” He offered her a low offer of -£1,000, with a high offer of £71,000, although she opted to play for what she had earnt and stuck with the £7,000.
When it was time to go against Shaun, Jacqueline’s performance started well, although things started to take a turn. Despite having a large gap on the table to begin with, as Shaun answered one of the questions incorrectly, he soon caught up.
As she answered the final question wrong, it meant she mad missed out in a place in the final, which left Bradley stunned. Before Jacqueline was made to leave the studio, Shaun remarked: “I’ve done myself a massive favour there.”
Meanwhile, Bradley commented, “Yeah, you really have. Jacqueline, I’m so sorry. Very good player, that’s it, finished. No more full-house, you’ve been caught and for you the chase is over. Thank you so much for coming on.”
When she made her exit, it seemed as though Bradley was speechless over her departure, as he added: “Wow, I can’t believe that.” To which Shaun added: “Nor can I, really lucky there.”
In the end, the team managed to get a total of 12 questions correct, which gave Shaun a total score of 15 to try and beat after they were given a three-step head start. Sadly, they were no match for the chaser as he managed to catch them with nine seconds on the clock.
