Could Noel and Liam be heading to Worthy Farm next summer?

Oasis have announced a huge 38-date tour next summer which includes an 11-night residency at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. But a “gap” in the touring schedule has left fans wondering – could the Britpop icons perform at Glastonbury Festival in 2027?
The band confirmed on Monday that they are set to perform next summer in Glasgow, Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, and Ireland before finishing with an epic return to Knebworth.
The Oasis tour kicks off on May 21, 2027, at Glasgow’s Celtic Park and will conclude with four nights at Knebworth, finishing on September 19. Oasis are set to perform in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium on June 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25, 26.

Eagle-eyed fans have spotted that there is no show scheduled for the Sunday of Glastonbury Festival, which is taking place between 23 and 27 June, 2027, leading to speculation that the brothers might have the festival in their sights.
Unfortunately, a show at Worthy Farm looks unlikely for Liam and Noel, with Liam recently telling fans on Twitter that it wouldn’t be happening.
Responding to fan page Oasis Mania, which shared the claim about the odds of Oasis playing Glasto on X, Liam was withering about the event and its famously bohemian crowd.
“It’s not HAPPENING so all you croc wearing flag waving s**t c****s can calm the f**k down,” he posted on August 22.
He later responded to a fan asking what he dreamt about last night saying: “I had a dream we was playing at Glastonbury and the croc brigade stormed the stage and started whipping me to death with their flags took me ages to get settled NIGHTMARE.”
After the tour announcement on Monday, Glastonbury expert @TheGlastoThingy noticed another factor that points towards an Oasis-shaped hole at this year’s festival. With their jam-packed schedule, a Glastonbury appearance would mean Oasis performing for three nights in a row, which is not a feat they took on at any point during the last live tour.
The account wrote on X: “Oasis basically ruled out. At no point on their last tour did they play more than two nights back to back. Not impossible, but highly unlikely.”
Oasis have played at Glastonbury three times in their career. They played on the NME stage in 1994 just as they were making their breakthrough. They went on to headline the Pyramid Stage the following year before doing so again in 2004.
Liam also played it with Beady Eye in 2013 and twice as a solo artist in 2017 and 2019. Noel also played with Pyramid Stage with his band the High Flying Birds in 2022.
Despite it being an unlikely appearance, fans have still been speculating – and hoping – about a potential performance at the iconic music festival.

X user @Glastopia wrote: “Do I think they will be at Glasto?… No. Do I still have the biggest hopes seeing that Sunday gap?… Hell yes!!!!! Delusional forever!”
The tour announcement came after weeks of speculation about a potential tour in 2027, which came to a head last week when a 120m drone display lit up the skies outside the Etihad with the iconic Oasis logo.
The drone display confirmed an announcement was expected at 4pm on Monday (September 14), which revealed details of the 2027 tour including dates, locations, ticket prices and how the sale is set to work.
The official Oasis statement confirmed in full the ticket prices for the new tour. It said that standard ticket prices will be fixed, and these will range between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees, for all dates in the UK.
