Indoor market with thousands of items coming to Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral next month

A large clothing market will be coming to Liverpool on October 3

A second-hand market is coming to Liverpool next month with curated pieces from over forty sellers. Catch Market will take over the Lutyens Crypt inside the Metropolitan Cathedral on Saturday October 3, from 11am to 4pm.

Catch Market, who put on events across the country, will bring thousands of 90’s and 2000s pieces to the city centre with menswear and womenswear available. Among the mix will be brands such as Stussy, Palace, Nike, Morgan De Toi, Jane Norman and Miss Sixty.

There will also be a free clothes swap on the day where attendees can bring up to 10 unwanted items in great condition and swap them for 10 pre-loved items from the clothes swap area.

Elsewhere bargain bins will see items priced at £10, £5 or £3.

Tickets range from free to £6.40 depending on time of arrival.

Ticket prices are:

  • 11am entry: £6.40
  • 1pm entry: £5.80
  • 3pm entry: Free

There will also be stalls selling permanent jewellery, tooth gems and cakes.

Also soon to arrive in the city is the Baltic Bazaar – a new permanent shopping venue located in the Baltic Triangle. The venue officially opens next Thursday (September 24).

Baltic Bazaar, will open under the same ownership as the Red Brick Market, and will be located next door.

The new venue will bring capacity for 120 more traders to the Baltic Triangle site and will focus on hosting artists and makers. According to its owner, the site will offer a smaller trading space and a more “modern” look than the existing Red Brick Market.

Opening times for the Baltic Bazaar will be:

  • Monday to Saturday: 10am to 6pm
  • Sunday: 11am to 6pm

The Baltic Bazaar is also hosting open days for potential traders. The next open day will be held on Sunday (September 20) from 2pm to 3pm.
