Dakota Johnson fueled romance rumors linking her to MGK in a cheeky new interview.
While the actress was not questioned specifically about the rocker, formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, in her Vogue cover story, she commented on “know[ing] a lot of musicians.”
Johnson, who previously dated performers Chris Martin and Role Model, said, “They like me. I don’t know what to say. And I like them.”
However, when asked “what’s not to like” about singers, the “Fifty Shades of Grey” star laughed and clarified, “A lot! A lot.”
She dubbed them “tricky motherf–kers” in the profile, published Friday.
Reps for Martin, Role Model and MGK did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The 36-year-old’s comments about dating come on the heels of her New York City night out with MGK, also 36.
On Sept. 11, the pair headed from Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment to Estela Restaurant in the same black SUV.
Johnson sported a sheer black tank top for the Big Apple evening — which a source told us was not a “big planned-out romantic night, or anything like that.”
We hear, “They were hanging out, having dinner, talking and getting to know each other. … It wasn’t awkward or forced. They were vibing and had fun.”
The insider shared, “They hit it off and there was definitely chemistry. It’s new and they’re just getting to know each other, but there was definitely something there, and he would like to see her again.”
MGK’s last public romance was his on and off relationship with Megan Fox, with whom he welcomed daughter Saga, now 1, in March 2025.
As for Johnson, she started dating Martin, 49, in 2017, and the duo split multiple times before ultimately calling it quits for good last year.
She was first spotted with Role Model, 29, in December 2025 — and People confirmed last month that they “split awhile ago.”
Johnson noted in her Vogue interview that her life “turned out differently than [she] thought” as she watches her pals get married and start families.
“It’s hard,” the “Madame Web” star confessed. “But it’s OK. I’m hopeful for that. I also just keep learning more and more and becoming a more solid woman.”
She told the magazine, “I really do [want kids]. I didn’t expect to be this age and at this place in my life, but for whatever reason, that’s the plan of the universe. So I would love that.”
“I hope that that happens for me,” Johnson continued. “I’ve always felt, especially the last few years, that there is a soul that wants to come through. And I hope that I’m lucky enough to be able to do that.”
She hinted at plans to step back from acting to “exist … as a human” since leaving sets is like the “heartbreak” of “leaving summer camp.”
Johnson explained, “It’s so devastating. And I don’t know how much more heartbreak my heart can handle.”
