Strictly Come Dancing’s new host Emma Willis lives in a stunning home with her husband Matt Willis and their three children
Presenter Emma Willis is preparing to grace the dance floor as the latest host of Strictly Come Dancing. In a major shake-up to the much-loved BBC dance competition, Emma is joined by comedian Josh Widdicombe and professional dancer Johannes Radebe as the new presenting team.
The trio steps into the shoes of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. While Emma, 50, is set to have an incredibly hectic few months in her new role, it appears she has the perfect retreat to rest and recharge.
The presenter lives in a luxurious countryside home with her Busted star husband Matt Willis, 43, and their three children.
Despite spending years living in London, Emma and Matt relocated to a newly built rural property in Hertfordshire. She once told House Beautiful: “The house looks like a country cottage, but inside, the rooms were very square and the walls were white.
“We more or less pulled it down and started over, trying to mirror the cottage style but with a modern twist.”
Emma has undoubtedly made the property her own and has been happy to share glimpses of it online. Last year, she had a kitchen renovation that truly reflects her personal taste.
The presenter fitted a stunning dusty pink kitchen, complete with an expansive island featuring a white countertop, a sink, and a seating area. Her remaining cabinetry provides a striking contrast to the pink, finished in black with gold hardware.
Emma revealed to her Instagram followers: “I’ve always played safe with colour but wanted to give the tradition style a bit of personality and fell in love with the charcoal and antique rose colour combo.”
Beyond the house, the family has access to an extensive area for recreation, hosting guests and relaxation. Their paved terrace boasts a large barbecue area with views across sweeping green countryside.
There’s ample seating available for visitors and relatives, while a basketball hoop provides entertainment for the children. Even during colder months, Emma and Matt can still make use of their generous outdoor area thanks to expansive bifold doors that lead straight into their garden.
Emma also appears to take pleasure in styling her home according to the seasons, frequently sharing her spectacular Christmas displays. The front of her property undergoes a magical transformation annually with striking designs.
In 2022, Emma’s entrance was adorned with miniature Christmas trees featuring white baubles, a coordinating wreath, and an oversized decoration positioned above the doorway.
Last year, her front door was embellished with multi-coloured baubles creating a striking festive spectacle. The varying-sized baubles beautifully framed the property’s entrance, which was completed with a complementary wreath.
