Student protester Prem Nayak, on the seventh day of the JPSC-JSSC aspirants’ hunger strike in Ranchi, said that the health of protesters has severely deteriorated, with a team of doctors attending to them through the night. “Attempts were made to wake up Devendra Nath Mahto last night,” Nayak said, alleging that the administration wants to hospitalise him to weaken the protest, “similar to how Sonam Wangchuk was treated,” in a bid to end the agitation.
