Kelsey Parker shares the news she has welcomed a new baby and told fans of the sweet name

Kelsey Parker has revealed she’s given birth to her new baby in an adorable Instagram post.

The podcaster and mumfluencer, who was married to the late Wanted star Tom Parker, shared the news with a snap of a baby’s arm.

Next to the newborn is a pink sign which reads the word ‘River’, hinting the baby is a girl and telling fans of her bundle of joy’s name.

“Welcome to the world, River. Our little bit of hope,” she captioned the snap. It will be a sibling to Kelsey’s children she shares with Tom – Aurelia, seven, and five year old Bodhi.

Kelsey, 36, was inundated with a series of congratulations messages and well-wishes.

“So happy for you all. congrats my darling xxx,” Charlotte Dawson said.

While Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid said: “Oh my goodness – this is so wonderful – welcome River.”

EastEnders‘ Louise Lytton added: “Congratulations to you all”

While Brooke Vincent commented: “Babe Congratulations.”

The news comes over a year since the tragic loss of her baby son Phoenix, who was “born sleeping” in July last year.

It was a harrowing experience for Kelsey and her partner Will Lindsay, after her house was labelled a “crime scene” following the homebirth and she was placed on a ward with newborn babies.

Kelsey, who shares both River and Phoneix with Will, announced back in June she was expecting another child – a “little rainbow baby.”

“A year ago next month, we lost our beautiful baby boy, Phoenix,” she said.

“And somehow, through all the heartbreak, it feels like Tom and Phoenix have sent us another little gift from heaven our little rainbow baby.”

Kelsey has had unimaginable trauma to navigate in her life, losing Tom in March 2022, and then Phoenix.

She told Mirror earlier this year, she refuses to let her grief stop her from living.

“We’ve been excited since the day we found out I was pregnant again,” she said. “I just don’t let myself go to that dark place of, what if? It’s not me.”

She added: “We never know what’s going to happen in life, do we? So there’s no point being anxious. We can’t control what happens.

“Six years ago, I thought I would still be with Tom, we’d have our kids, we might be planning more kids. But that’s just not where my life went.”

However, she remained positive and excited about the new baby on the horizon.

“I’m going to be in a total baby bubble soon,” she said. “I might even take some time off. But nesting, I don’t know – someone else can do that for me,” she said. “I’ve got lots organised though, so it’s exciting. Like, the buggy’s delivered and everything.”
