Say Now is a British pop group composed of Amelia Onuorah, Maddie Haynes, and Yssy Salvanera. They’ve been releasing crystalline pop since 2023, and on Friday, they returned with their new single, “Met my match,” executive produced by PinkPantheress. Maestro The Baker, Oscar Scheller, and Count Baldor also worked on the track.
“Met my match” is a flirty song driven by mercurial Y2K-pop vocals, blazing synths, and upbeat claps. It’s the perfect track to get ready to before a big night out. It’s the sound of ignoring your bedazzled flip phone’s constant buzzing while applying blush. The new single also previews the group’s forthcoming debut EP, slated for release in November.
