Nani’s The Paradise pre-release event was held today in a spectacular manner, with the core team in attendance. The event witnessed a massive turnout, making it a grand affair.
Music director Anirudh Ravichander, who could not attend the event in person as he was busy working on the film’s final sound mix, sent a special message to the team and fans.
“My apologies for not being there for The Paradise pre-release event. Srikanth and I are still working on the final tweaks. This is a very heartfelt film and a very special one for me and my entire team because I found a new brother in Srikanth Odela. He is a crazy talent. I was very surprised to see such a young director having the same thought process as me. We really sync on another level, so I have found a brother through this film,” Anirudh said.
Anirudh also had special words for Nani, with whom he previously collaborated on Jersey and Gang Leader.
“Our combination is very special to all of you, whether it is Jersey or Gang Leader, and now we are completing a hat-trick with The Paradise. Nani is a dear brother, and I am very happy that we got to work together on The Paradise with Srikanth’s brilliance,” he said.
Nani highlighted the enormous effort put in by everyone associated with the film, from the junior artistes to the technical crew.
“You will see the hard work of our Sawari team on the day of release. Kasarla Shyam is another hero of this film. Srikanth Odela is like a younger brother to me. Ours is a relationship between two brothers. I have felt proud of Srikanth many times and admired him on several occasions.”
“There were also times when the film was getting delayed and I called him and gave him a class. But at the end of the day, when I look at Srikanth like an elder brother, I feel extremely proud of his conviction,” Nani said.
Nani also showered praise on the film’s cast.
“Sampoornesh Babu has rocked it as Biryani. Everyone was surprised when his first look came out. My two favourite actors on location were Sonali and Raghav. Raghav is an entertainer and an amazing actor. He stole the show today and brought out so many small nuances beautifully.”
“Nobody other than Sonali could have played Sammakka. We shot under extremely difficult conditions, but she never complained,” he said.
Speaking about Kayadu, Nani said, “Kayadu has done an amazing job. Once the film releases, audiences will go crazy over the Subbu character she has played.”
He also praised veteran actor Mohan Babu’s presence in the film.
“What Mohan Babu is, what his personality is, what his voice is and the kind of impact he creates on screen will once again be introduced to an entirely new generation through The Paradise. There is no doubt about it. I personally know what a wonderful human being he is, and I had a wonderful experience working with him.”
Nani once again praised Anirudh for his commitment to the project.
“This is a film Anirudh made with crazy love. For Srikanth, for me and for The Paradise, he gave everything and put his heart and soul into it. Anirudh showed me the message he sent to Srikanth. I can say one thing — it is going to be a celebration. From the evening of the 23rd, theatres are going to shake,” he said.
Addressing the negativity that often accompanies success, Nani delivered a message to his supporters.
“As we grow, along with positivity, negativity also grows around us. There is no big logic or reason behind it. I hope that negativity does not reach those who love me. I hope even that negativity eventually turns into positivity.”
“When we do something right and do it consistently, just as the number of people who want us to win keeps growing, there will also be people who want to see us lose. It is not that I am not trying to defeat those who want to see me lose. But I will continue working hard to make those who believe I will win feel like winners. Nobody can stop us. The celebrations will begin from the night of the 23rd,” Nani said.
During the pre-release event, the team also unveiled two songs that came as a pleasant surprise to fans and moviegoers.
While Sammakka is an emotionally charged number, Anjaana is a romantic track. Both songs received an enthusiastic response following their release.
