Kelly Clarkson is showing off a dramatic new look!
The 44-year-old “Since U Been Gone” singer debuted one of her shortest hairstyles in years while appearing on Today on Monday (September 21) in New York City.
Kelly stepped out with a sleek brunette bob that fell just past her chin, a major change from the longer hair she has been sporting recently.

The appearance comes less than a month after the final episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show aired on August 31 following seven seasons.
Kelly did not reveal what inspired the haircut during her Today appearance, but the transformation arrives as she begins a new chapter following the end of her daytime talk show.
It’s not the first time Kelly has rocked a shorter look. She previously showed off a bob look on The Voice, though NBC later revealed that the hairstyle wasn’t a permanent cut.
Her Today appearance also comes as she prepares to return to The Voice for Season 30 alongside Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green. Find out how to tune in for the premiere!
