Taylor Frankie Paul said in an Instagram post Monday that she is stepping away from “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” primarily citing “bullying” from her castmates over her personal issues, including ongoing custody battles with the fathers of her children and recent alleged failures of court-ordered drug tests.
“My gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. However I don’t desire to move forward like this,” the Hulu star, who was confirmed earlier this month to be part of “SLOMW” Season 6, wrote in a lengthy caption. “I originally was willing to be removed to let them all continue on with less stress and I’m back to that point.”
She lashed out at her castmates in particular: “Some of the girls know what I’ve been through and then to turn and collectively pile on with their ‘statements’ knowing there has been ongoing abuse through the system the last 8 months on top of what I’ve endured. Almost the entire cast plus some, going at me….laughing about my kids is disgusting.”
“I bit my tongue there. These same people had meetings telling me I need to lead the way of pay….my voice was the only one that can make it happen and then they would work from what I demanded. I’m grateful I never followed through with their requests of demands and I’m grateful I kept same pay out of fairness and integrity. I treated production and crew with respect always, in fact they are ones who checked on me throughout this,” Paul detailed.
“It’s to the point of bullying for months now.,” she added. “My question has been how much suffering and scrutiny is going to be enough…I’m just relieved to be out.”
In additional captions in her photo carousel, Paul appeared to read messages of support from commenters who called out “cyberbullying” and “disgusting” behavior.
Paul, 32, allegedly had her parenting time reduced to eight hours a week after she failed multiple court-ordered drug tests in the last 60 days, according to a recent TMZ report.
The court reportedly ordered the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star to four hours with her kids Indy, 8, and Ocean 6, who she shares with ex-husband Tate Paul, and four hours with her son Ever, 2, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
A representative for Paul did not respond to Page Six at the time.
This is just the latest in a series of personal problems for Paul, who lost her role on Season 22 of the “Bachelorette” and spurred “SLOMW” to halt production in March over domestic abuse allegations.
Video of an alleged 2023 incident surfaced, showing her hurling metal stools across the room at Mortensen, in front of Indy.
Paul has since been embroiled in a seemingly endless series of issues regarding her exes and children, including struggling with separate custody agreements proposed by her exes that would give each of them 60 percent custody while she retained 40 percent, a move that a source told us she noted wasn’t made with “the safety or well-being of our children” in mind.
Insiders noted that Paul, who briefly checked herself into rehab in June, “has been working on herself” while attempting to deal with her ongoing personal issues, and that the networks have been “supportive.”
However, not everyone has been supportive. Paul’s “SLOMW” co-star Mikayla Matthews alluded on Instagram without naming names that Paul’s return spurred her own decision to quit the series.
