Energetic Star Ram Pothineni has completed the second schedule of his ambitious directorial debut RAPO23. The actor is stepping behind the camera for the first time, bringing his own creative vision to the neo noir psychological action thriller. Samyuktha stars as the female lead, while Krishna Pothineni produces the film.
The latest schedule featured a high intensity night action sequence mounted across an impressive one kilometre stretch. The entire location was illuminated with extensive lighting, creating a striking visual canvas for the film’s dark neo noir setting. An aerial view of the elaborate setup has further showcased the production’s scale and ambition.
Action choreographers Kevin Master, Peter Hein and Vikram Mor are associated with the film’s action department, while National Award winning cinematographer Thirunavukarasu, popularly known as Tirru, is capturing Ram’s directorial vision. The visuals are expected to feature a distinctive texture suited to the psychological action thriller’s intense atmosphere.
RAPO23 has music by Sam CS and production design by AS Prakash, with the project mounted under the Rapo Cinematics banner. With its second schedule completed and large scale action sequences taking shape, the film is generating curiosity as Ram Pothineni attempts to deliver a distinctive neo noir experience with never seen before visuals.
