A new collaboration between Toy Story 5 and a popular video game was recently revealed. Pixar also unveiled a trailer for the game, ahead of the Disney+ streaming release. However, the collaboration is limited-time.
On September 22, 2026, Pixar and Fortnite launched a new trailer for Toy Story 5: The Great Toy Rescue. The trailer features a new Fortnite map where the franchise’s beloved toys need to be found and rescued. This time-limited collaboration is available from September 22 to October 5, 2026. The trailer also revealed the map’s island code (6059-3243-8283).

The Toy Story 5: The Great Toy Rescue trailer opens with a first-person view of Jessie and Buzz in Bonnie’s room. However, due to a tear in spacetime, the beloved characters are pulled into unknown places across various maps. In a turn of events, Fortnite characters break in and go on a rescue mission within the room.
As the trailer progresses, gamers must find Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Hamm, and Forky by accessing various maps through portals within the room. On each map, they must complete different challenges to find the toys and safely bring them back to Bonnie’s room. With each completed challenge, players can also unlock new skills, including weapons and a jump boost.
The collaboration news was unveiled days before the fifth instalment’s premiere on Disney+. The fifth installment of the franchise follows Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang as they come face-to-face with Lilypad, a brand-new tablet device. This device has her own disruptive ideas about what is best for Bonnie, overtaking the toys’ beloved playtime with her.
Toy Story 5 will be available to stream on Disney+ starting September 23, 2026.
