Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s longtime friends George and Amal Clooney dropped everything to be there for their friends after the death of their son Presley.
The Oscar winner and his wife were photographed arriving at the Los Angeles home of Crawford and Gerber’s daughter, Kaia, on Tuesday, just two days after Presley died at age 27.
“It was less about talking and more about just listening, comforting Cindy and Rande and being there for them,” a source exclusively told Page Six.
“There really aren’t any words that can make something like this better. They just wanted to be there for their friends and let them talk about whatever they needed to,” the source added.
The insider told Page Six that the Clooneys have also sent meals to the family and are helping in whatever ways they can as Crawford, 60, and Gerber, 64, mourn their only son.
“They’ve all been incredibly close for decades, and George is committed to being there for Cindy and Rande, not just right now but in the months and years ahead,” the source said.
“George and Amal are absolutely beside themselves with grief,” the insider told us. “George is completely shattered by Presley’s death. He’s known him his entire life, and he never imagined things would ever get to this point.”
“He always saw Cindy and Rande as having this beautiful family, and he can’t begin to imagine what they’re going through right now,” the source added.
Reps for the Clooneys, Crawford and Gerber did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Clooney and Gerber’s friendship dates back to the 1990s, long before they became business partners and co-founded Casamigos tequila with Mike Meldman in 2013.
Their families have remained close over the years, with George reportedly becoming known as “Uncle George” to Presley and Kaia.
According to the Daily Mail, the “Ocean’s Eleven” star maintained a particularly close bond with Presley and spent hours talking with him as he struggled with addiction.
The outlet reported George also sent the young model encouraging notes, reminding him that he was there for him during difficult periods.
Presley died Sunday at Resolutions Living facility in Santa Monica, where he had been receiving treatment.
He was found unresponsive following a suspected overdose. Emergency responders attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His official cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
As Page Six previously reported, Crawford and Gerber remained devoted to their son throughout his struggles with addiction and mental health.
“There was always concern around Presley,” a source close to the family previously told us. “Cindy and Rande loved him tremendously, and they worried about him. They wanted him to be healthy and get to a good place.”
“They never stopped supporting him,” the insider said. “No matter what he was going through, his family was there and wanted him to get the help he needed.”
Flowers have also begun arriving at the family’s home in the wake of the tragedy, sources previously told Page Six.
Presley is survived by his parents and his younger sister, Kaia.
