Alex Kingston returns as River Song in a brand-new box set of Doctor Who spinoff audio adventures in February, and for this outing, she’s bringing her dad, Rory Williams (played by Arthur Darvill). The pair are being pursued through time and space, and one episode will see them visit Victorian London, where they’ll meet an old ally from the Paternoster Gang.
There will be four episodes in this upcoming box-set, these are:
‘Bog Man’ by Lizzie Hopley – During his separation from Amy, Rory stays with an old friend in Birmingham, that is until River turns up all battered and bruised and wanting some father-daughter time. A father-daughter outing follows, thanks to a mysterious Bog Man at the local museum, but it doesn’t work out quite the way Rory would like.
‘Life Lessons’ by Karissa Hamilton-Bannis – On the run from an alien vessel, Rory and River head to a familiar haunt – Leadworth. Painful memories result from a meeting with an old teacher, but the pain will only get worse if that vessel catches them.

‘A Most Dangerous Game’ by Robert Valentine – When River takes Rory for a ride in the ‘borrowed’ TARDIS, they head to Victorian London to respond to a cry for help. Here they meet up with Strax is the Sontaran of the Paternoster Gang, who is only too happy to help lift a terrible curse.
‘The Tashpa Stone’ by Shai Hussain and John Dorney – The journey in the stolen TARDIS is coming to an end with River deciding to face her pursuers. She’s sure that her dad will stand up for her no matter what, but will he really?
This upcoming box set also stars Saffron Coomber, Reece Connolly, Riess Fennell, and Timothy Bentinck.
