Tonight’s Big Brother saw the second live eviction of the series, but there was of course plenty of chaos

A Big Brother star has been forced to leave the house immediately after receiving huge backlash from viewers in recent days.
A fresh series of the hit ITV2 show returned to screens earlier this month with 16 new housemates hoping to win over the nation for the next eight weeks. In just two weeks, there has been no shortage of drama with explosive rows and heated clashes.
With arguments breaking out almost daily, personalities continue to clash as a clear divide is emerging within the group. However, viewers have been entertained as they look forward to more chaos each evening.
Earlier this week, Pauline and Chelsey received the highest number of votes when the housemates were tasked with nominations for the first time this series, meaning they faced the public vote.
Tonight (September 25), viewers found out who was to be evicted as hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu returned for the second live eviction so far where they confirmed at the start of the show there had already been “well over half a million votes”.
Upon hearing at the start of the show that there had been over half a million votes already at that time, one viewer shared their surprise adding: “Tonight might be highest vote percentage for ITV and might be up there with the highest ever BBUK percentages.”
Following viewers’ votes, it was Chelsey who was eliminated and told to leave the Big Brother house immediately. The announcement came after huge backlash from fans at home, with clear chants also heard in the live audience tonight with plenty of boos and cheers.
Chelsey was seen in tears as the housemates said their emotional goodbyes. Will could be heard saying: “Chelsey, your stay in the Big Brother house is over. Say your goodbyes.”
Upon her exit, Chesley faced the crowd after boos were heard from the crowd. However, AJ was quick to offer words of encouragement, adding: “Take no notice of them it’s all panto.”
Big Brother will not air tomorrow night (Saturday, September 26), this is because the series does not air on Saturdays, instead, viewers will be able to see the aftermath of the eviction on the Sunday at its usual 9pm slot.
As Big Brother is about to enter its third week, there has already been a considerable amount of drama, just last night (September 24) an argument broke out between Rochelle and Johanne during this week’s shopping task following concerns over uncooked chicken.
It wasn’t long before housemates were once again forced to intervene in a bid to calm things down, before Big Brother issued a stern warning.
