The first act to take to the stage at Musgrave Park (Virgin Media Park) in Cork next summer has been announced.
The Saw Doctors have confirmed that they will play the stadium on Saturday, July 3, 2027, with The Stunning as special guests.
Tickets will cost €59.90 including booking fee and go on sale on Friday, October 2 at 10am via Ticketmaster.

The Saw Doctors, led by the band’s songwriting duo, Davy Carton (lead vocals) and Leo Moran (electric guitar), recently welcomed back one of their founding members, Pearse Doherty, on bass guitar, vocals, penny whistle and wooden flute.
The eight-man band lineup also features Anthony Thistlethwaite, formerly of The Waterboys, on saxophone and longtime members Rickie O’Neill on drums, Kieran Duddy on keyboards and accordion, Tommy Carton on backing vocals and Noelie McDonnell on guitar and backing vocals.
Discovered by Mike Scott of The Waterboys in the Quay’s Bar in Co Galway in the late 1980s, The Saw Doctors quickly became popular, touring Ireland and the UK, including a six-week stint with The Waterboys on the Fisherman’s Blues tour in 1989.
The band’s second single, was a Number One hit in Ireland in September 1990 and stayed at the top of the charts for nine weeks.
Leo Moran has described the band’s mission as one that “preserves the positive elements of our Irish background” and marries them to the sounds which have “culturally invaded our milieu through TV, radio, social media, 45’s, fast food restaurants, 24-hour petrol stations and electric blankets”.
